October Sharing Time WK 3

Reactions:
Come join in on the fun at the After General Conference Soiree, starts Friday, October 13th!!

I love the idea of using hands, for this you'll need one of the hand printouts for each child.... give them a few minutes to write down their name (instructions in outline) then instead of inviting them up... after they have written their name (or the teachers have) have the kids crumple up their hands... then on the count of 3 throw up to the front... they'll have a blast I promise! Then you pick as many as time allows and read whose name is on the hand... ask them what blessing or ordinance they've gotten and how they felt and how it has strengthened them (read fully in outline) - if they want to share- and invite them to put on the board of pictures with tape, magnet, or pin.

(all different colors)

Pictures
Sacrament
Confirmation
Father's Blessing
Blessing Sick
Priesthood Blessing ( I include because some children may not have a father/grandfather to give father's blessings, but can still receive a blessing)
Baptism

I couldn't find a baby blessing, however Google Images comes up with a lot, but for privacy, copyrights, I'm not going to post any, but for your Primary, I'm sure you could snag one just to show without sharing at all. I love the 3rd page, 2nd row, 3rd from the left.. DARLING!

Please take a minute to share a comment, I love reading them! They keep making me want to give FREEBIES! It's always wonderful to know that what you are putting up and writing about is worthwhile and people enjoy them. Questions? Trouble downloading? Email me at latterdaychatter@yahoo.com

  1. I just wanted to take a moment to say Thank You for your site, printable, and ideas. But most importantly for sharing them with us! I am a first timer in Primary and it is my month to do sharing time. The kids absolutely LOVED throwing the hands at the board.

  2. Thank you so much. I was feeling so overwhelmed today and had all these ideas of what I wanted to create with limited time. Your printables were just what I wanted to create, and saved me so much time. Thank you!

  3. I wanted to express my gratitude for your hard work to help me with my sharing time. Your printables for week 2 and 3 were exactly what I needed. I have been working on writing the sacrament program and was short on time for preparing sharing time. You are a lifesaver!! Thank you so much!

  4. Crumple up the hands and throw them, GENIUS!! There is no way we would have enough time to have all the kids come up and tape the hands on the pictures.

  5. Thanks so much for this! The kids will LOVE tossing the crumpled hands up to the front. Great idea. I noticed that on the same page as the other pics, under the heading "Beliefs and Practices" on lds.org, there is a picture of a baby blessing. It's here: http://www.lds.org/media-library/images/beliefs-practices?lang=eng&start=51&end=60#baby-blessing-594217

    Thank you again!

  8. Thank you so much for these printables! I was hoping for a way to cut down on the time it would take to outline and cut out the children's own hands since our junior Primary is very large and young. :) And I know they will have a blast throwing them--I love that idea! FYI, there is a great baby blessing picture on p. 118 in the Nursery manual, "Behold Your Little Ones." Thanks again!
